Legislature approves appointment of DPMs, Cabinet members
Thursday, July 28,2016AsemconnectVietnam - With 97.37% of approval votes, the 14th National Assembly on July 28 adopted a Resolution ratifying the Prime Minister’s proposal on appointing Deputy Prime Ministers for the tenure 2016-2021.
The legislators also voted to approve the Government chief’s appointment of Ministers and other Cabinet member.
The following is the election results:
1. 469/487 deputies (94.94% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Truong Hoa Binh as Deputy Prime Minister.
2. 483/488 deputies (97.77% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Pham Binh Minh as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
3. 476/488 deputies (96.36% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Poliburo member Vuong Dinh Hue as Deputy Prime Minister.
4. 473/488 deputies (95.75% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Vu Duc Dam as Deputy Prime Minister.
5. 445/488 deputies (90.08% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Trinh Dinh Dung as Deputy Prime Minister.

1. 477/487 deputies (96.56%) approved the appointment of Politburo member Ngo Xuan Lich as Minister of National Defense.
2. 473/486 deputies (95.75%) approveed the appointment of Politburo member To Lam as Minister of Public Security.
3. 449/487 deputies (90.89%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Le Vinh Tan as Minister of Home Affairs.
4. 448/487 deputies (90.69%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Le Thanh Long as Mininister of Justice.
5. 452/485 deputies (91.50%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Chi Dung as Minister of Planning and Investment.
6. 468/487 deptuties (94.74%) appproved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Dinh Tien Dung as Minister of Finance.
7. 458/487 deputies (92.71%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Tran Anh Tuan as Minister of Industry and Trade.
8. 428/485 deptuties (86.64%) approved the appointment of Party Central Committee Nguyen Xuan Cuong as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
9. 451/487 deputies (91.30%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Truong Quang Nghia as Minister of Transport.
10. 444/485 deputies (89.88%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Pham Hong Ha as Minister of Construction.
11. 412/484 deputies (83.40%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Tran Hong Ha as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
12. 458/486 deputies (92.71%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Truong Minh Tuan as Minister of Information and Communication.
13. 400/486 deputies (80.97%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Dao Ngoc Dung as Minister of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs.
14. 452/486 deputies (91.50%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Ngoc Thien as Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
15. 464/484 deputies (93.93%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Chu Ngoc Anh as Minister of Science and Technology.
16. 454/485 deputies (91.90%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Phung Xuan Nha as Minister of Education and Training.
17. 462/487 deputies (93.52%) approved Nguyen Thi Kim Tien as Minister of Health.
18. 482/487 deputies (97.57%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Do Van Chien as Minister-Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs.
19. 464/487 deputies (93.93%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Le Minh Hung as Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam.
20. 439/487 deputies (88%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Phan Van Sau as Chief of the Government Inspectorate.
21. 453/485 deputies (91.70%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Mai Tien Dung as Minister-Chairman of the Government Office./.
