Germany – biggest trade partner of Vietnam in Europe

AsemconnectVietnam - Germany is now the country’s biggest trade partner in Europe and it accounts for 19 per cent of Vietnam’s exports to EU. Germany is also an important gate for Vietnamese goods to be transited to other markets in Europe.
Vietnam exported US$ 2.93 billion worth of goods to Germany in the first 6 months of this year, up by 3.23 per cent year – on – year, according to the preliminary statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
It was followed by footwear of all kinds with $ 372.62 million, up by 8.68 per cent; textiles and garments - $ 341.2 million, up by 9.5 per cent; coffee - $ 264.4 million, up by 22 per cent; computers, electronic products and components - $ 204 million, down by 13 per cent.
