AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam exported US$ 68.58 million worth of electric wires and cables in June and US$ 421.24 million in the first 6 months of this year, up by 4.7 per cent over the same period last year, according to the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.

Japan was still leading in the list of the country's major export markets of electric wires and cables in the first 6 months of this year with the export turnover of over $ 104.86 million, accounted for 24.9 per cent of the total and increased by 14.3 per cent year – on – year. 

In the first 6 months of this year, the country’s export of electric wires and cables to Indonesia increased by 10.3 per cent; that to Thailand – up by 9.8 per cent; and to Singapore – up by 6.4 per cent.

However, the export of electric wires and cables to Australia decreased by 77.9 per cent; to Cambodia – down by 28.6 per cent; and to France – down by 20.4 per cent.
