DAILY: Vietnamese coffee prices remained unchanged on April 1, 2024

AsemconnectVietnam - On Monday, Robusta coffee prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands, the country's largest coffee-growing area remained unchanged at VND98,100 – VND98,700 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.

Gia Nghia of Dak Nong provided the maximum price of VND98,700/kg, while traders in Lam Dong province offered the lowest price of VND98,100 /kg. Robusta coffee stayed at VND98,100 per kg in Bao Loc, Di Linh, and Lam Ha; at VND 98,500 per kg - VND98,600 per kg in Dak Lak; at VND98,600 – VND98,700 in Dak Nong; at VND98,500 per kg in Kon Tum, and at VND98,500 – VND98,600 per kg in Gia Lai.
Viet Nam shipped nearly 799,000 tonnes of coffee, valued at US$1.9 billion in January-March period, with average price of US$3,500 - US$4,000 per tonne, said the ministry.
The Southeast Asian nation is the second largest coffee producer and exporter in the world and its coffee has been exported to 70 countries and territories. Lam Dong province in the Central Highlands and Son La province in Northwest Viet Nam are the major Robusta cultivation hubs. Last year, coffee exports decreased by 9.6 percent to 1.61 million tonnes but export revenue rose to a record high of US$4.18 billion.
