DAILY: Vietnamese pepper prices fell by 1500 VND on March 1, 2024

AsemconnectVietnam - On Friday, domestic pepper prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands decreased by 1500 VND to VND92,000 - VND93,500 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.
The maximum price for pepper fell by 1500 VND to VND93,500 per kg in Binh Phuoc while in Dong Nai province, the lowest price to VND92,000 per kg. Farmers in Dac Lac and Dak Nong sold pepper for VND93,000 per kilogram, in Gia Lai province for VND92,000 per kilogram and Ba Ria – Vung Tau for 93,000 VND. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has set a goal of the total pepper cultivation area nationwide standing at 80,000 - 100,000 ha by 2030, with a production target of 180,000 - 230,000 tonnes.
